Wush Wush is a village in the Ginbo district of Keffa, renowned for its washing station and the namesake coffee varietal prized worldwide for its delicate profile. Around 2,500 farmers, primarily small-scale "garden farmers," travel from the surrounding countryside to deliver their cherries for processing. Smaller farms generally yield 2 to 4 bags of green coffee per year. The washing station is well known for its expertise in producing exceptional natural and washed coffees. Keffa, the region from which the word "coffee" is derived, has a deep-rooted history of cultivation and pride in its signature crop.
